I have travelled extensively around Europe by train, concentrating on travelling over all the passenger routes - I don't write down train numbers!
This gallery shows a selection of the many thousands of photographs I have taken over the years. Most of the pictures are after 2001 when I got my first digital camera, though I am slowly scanning my earlier negatives.
I have grouped the pictures by country rather than by date. As can be seen I have tended to concentrate more recently on Eastern Europe where there are still lots of interesting trains, compared to some of the more modern equipment in Western Europe.
