Sorry, Kicevo station is not quite deserted - this narrow gauge train is parked in the station forecourt. The whole route from Skopje through Kičevo to Ohrid used to be narrow gauge, only the route as far as Kičevo being converted to standard gauge.

Kicevo station has been deserted since June 2001, since when no passenger trains have operated due to the political situation in this region close to the border with Albania.Previous | Index
